GBE has extensive experience in supplying its patented UV technology for air and water disinfection. Over the years the company has invested heavily in the development of next generation ultraviolet (UV) systems and acquired Kaiku Process Solutions, based in Manchester, in 2007. This has allowed the company to expand its equipment range with the i-Pipe™ an intelligent pipe interface which can be used to detect changes to product formulation at high speed in a variety of production environments.
A period of intensive development work has resulted in the launch of new patented UV disinfection technology ideally suited to the food, drink, healthcare and related markets, for raw and packaged products such as bottled drinks, juices and soft drinks as well as packaged foodstuffs such as salads, nuts and fruits and berries. However, these new systems are equally applicable to many other products and sectors.
